Laid back Festival Wedding with Tipis

Updated: Nov 18, 2019

Seriously cool and super relaxed festival wedding for these guys. Georgie and Phil got married in April this year surrounded by their friends and family. The sun shone all day which was pretty lucky after the crazy weather we had earlier this year...

Georgie got ready at her Mum's house with her sisters and her beautiful little girl, Poppy. I hadn't seen Georgie's dress until the morning of the wedding, and it absolutely blew me away. A gorgeous blue with colourful embroidery consisting of flowers, leaves and birds, plus two custom made appliqués which Georgie's Dad had designed for her. She looked absolutely stunning and the blue birdcage veil added another little vintage twist. Above, Georgie applies the final touches before heading out the door to meet her groom to be at the end of the aisle

Dovecote barn was the perfect wedding venue for this lovely couple, the ceremony took place in the intimate barn where Georgie and Phil said their vows and lit candles for loved ones who could not be present. It was a wonderful, happy and emotional ceremony. The room was filled with smiling faces and it was so easy to see how happy these two make each other

So many lovely details and personal touches. After pies and speeches in the wedding tipi, the guests headed outside, sipping summer drinks, playing games and chilling on hay bails. Serious festival vibes

The summer vibes continued into the evening with dancing, fish and chips and blankets. Oooh and they had fire pits with marshmallows. Perfection

The sun had just disappeared and the dusk light was drawing in. Georgie and Phil had a little stroll in the countryside and a little time where the two of them could catch up and chill

Such an awesome day filled with great food, music, dancing, friends and family.
