Iceland. Road trip. Photography... this trip was of course, completely epic!
As soon as I saw the post on Instagram about Roadie, a wedding photography workshop in Iceland, I was already planning how many thermals I would need to take, and wondering 'Is it really as beautiful as everybody says?'
There are really no words (that I can come up with) that do justice to the feeling I had when we were driving and hiking around this incredible country. It's pretty surreal. Breathtaking, not only from how cold it was (I'm a sun seeker at heart) but the expanse, the rugged beauty of the landscape, the wild ponies, the crazy climate. It was a rush, every minute.
The workshop was hosted by the amazing Nordica and Mark Pacura. Who drove us around the west coast of Iceland, introducing us to the most extraordinary landscapes, where we had the opportunity to photograph a very brave and lovely couple, Jonna & Rolle who wrapped each other up and hiked with us through the snow and across the stunning scenery, total rock stars.
The light and weather in Iceland are incredible, and the atmosphere made it the most extraordinary backdrop for photographing these guys
So thank you to Jonna & Rolle, Cole, Mark and our Roadie crew for a unforgettable adventure!
