Adventure Couple Photography at Curbar Edge / Derbyshire Wedding Photographer

Updated: Mar 28, 2021

The weather couldn't have been more perfect. The sun was peeking from behind the clouds and there was a lovely warm breeze. It was my first time visiting Curbar Edge in Sheffield, and it blew me away...

The views were absolutely stunning, and there was a really lovely chilled out vibe, a few people walking their dogs and a couple of groups hanging out enjoying the beautiful scenery. Emily and Danny chose Curbar Edge as the location for their pre wedding photoshoot as this is where Danny had proposed the year before. They both love this place and I can understand why. It just has a really awesome feeling about it, and when you look out at the english countryside there is a real sense of adventure.

I was so pleased when Emily and Danny said they were going to bring there little dog, Pippa! She had a great time running around like crazy and we managed to get a few shots with Pippa too. These guys were absolute legends and I can't wait to photograph their wedding in October. The photoshoot was super relaxed and we strolled around, climbed on rocks, saw the sunset and had a bit of a run in with some curious cows (no evidence of this as someone had a slight fear of cows) so we actually had to run away from them. Haha!

I absolutely love the outdoors and am so grateful these guys shared this place with me, I will definitely be returning next time I am in Derbyshire.

The sunlight on this particular evening was so pretty, and lit up the countryside. And the fact that these guys love being outdoors and are totally besotted with each other made this photoshoot an absolute dream! Thanks Emily and Danny (and of course Pippa)
