Where?

You can choose to have your newborn shoot either at your home or at an outdoor location
When the weather is cold, of course it is best to have an at home shoot but during the warmer months you may decide on an outdoor shoot, ideally a warm evening when the sun is low in the sky : )

Here are some ideas for outdoor locations: a local park or gardens, a woodland, a meadow, a back garden, a walk through a village, a beach,
a country walk/park, a pretty lane, a field or anywhere that has some nature


When?

As I shoot with natural light, your photoshoot can actually take place anytime during daylight hours
One of my fave times to shoot is golden hour which is the time before the sun goes down. I also love overcast days, dusk or whenever the sun is not too high in the sky : ) Therefore I usually book shoots for either the morning, afternoon or evening, so if it's a really sunny day we won't be shooting when the sun is directly above us

If you are having an at home shoot, this can be booked any time of day : ) I will still be using natural window light, so the more rooms available to use during your shoot the better!
